Challenge # 4: Vote Organic!
[Jul 29, 09 byLast night I watched a full 2 hours and 49 minute House committee hearing on C-Span on Bill 1549 to ban the use of antibiotics on livestock. I heard testimony after testimony on the effect the overuse of drugs in the factory farm systems (which supply almost all the meat in the U.S.) has on human health. It is to the point that we are becoming immune to these life-saving drugs because we are exposed to them in our food and even ground water supply.

Challenge # 3: End Idle Waste!

of gasoline by voluntarily idling their cars. Now, we all know how important it is to get our country off our “oil addiction” so eliminating ‘idle-waste” is a great way to help that. And another huge benefit is you will be helping those with asthma.
