Challenge # 7: Green Your Lunch Routine

Pack all food and beverages in reusable containers and carry them in a reusable sack or lunchbox, and leave no waste behind. Once you are set up with your gear, it’s easy…and cheaper than buying disposable products and heavily-packaged convenience items. Especially when you buy foods in bulk and make your own individual portions.

Challenge # 6: Party Like There is a Tomorrow
[Sep 2, 09 byOne of the best things about summer is all the parties, picnics, and celebrations. But one of the worst is all of the trash that these festivities create. Now this is not a verified statement, but I would think the use of disposables must increase greatly in the summer. To think of the amount of plates, cups, utensils, napkins, bottles, and other food containers tossed away is stupefying- but it doesn’t have to be this way….
